Change it,
and watch
the number move.
Every finish here is priced the way a real quotation prices it — flooring by the square foot, kitchen by the running foot, wardrobe by the square foot of front.
What interiors
actually cost.
Carcass, shutters, hardware, counter and a chimney point. The number moves with the shutter finish and the hardware brand, not with the size of your kitchen — a small kitchen in acrylic costs more than a large one in laminate.
Measured on the face, floor to ceiling. Internal drawers, mirrors and pull-out units are quoted separately because most families want them in one wardrobe and not the others.
Peripheral cove is the cheap, sane option and it is what most of the house should get. Full gypsum with profile lighting is worth it in one or two rooms, not in all six.
Vitrified tile is the workhorse and there is no shame in it. Wooden laminate belongs in bedrooms, never in kitchens or bathrooms. Italian marble is beautiful and it needs polishing every few years.
The one place a little louvre panelling changes the whole drawing room. Also the easiest place to overspend, because it photographs well and nobody uses it.
Emulsion inside, weatherproof outside. Texture and stencil work on a feature wall is quoted per wall, once you have seen a sample on your own wall in your own light.
Profile lights, spots, pendants and fans. Wiring is part of construction; this is only what hangs off it. Buy fewer, better fittings — a room needs three light levels, not fifteen fixtures.

Two kitchens can look identical
and cost half as much.
| Board | Where it belongs | What it does in a Gorakhpur monsoon | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| BWP plywood | Kitchen carcass, every wet area | Boiling-water proof. This is the only board that should ever go under a sink. | Highest |
| HDHMR | Shutters, wardrobes, panelling | Dense and dead flat, so shutters do not warp and acrylic sits perfectly on it. | High |
| MDF | Dry-area shutters, mouldings | Takes paint and membrane beautifully. Swells and never recovers if it gets wet. | Medium |
| Particle board | Nowhere in your house | Sags under its own weight within two years. This is what a suspiciously cheap quote is made of. | Lowest |
Hinges and channels
Soft-close hinges and telescopic channels from a named brand, with the warranty card in your name. Hardware is what you touch forty times a day and the first thing that gets substituted.
Granite, quartz or Corian
Granite is cheapest and effectively permanent. Quartz is uniform and needs no sealing. Corian is seamless and scratches. All three are fine; only one of them is fine on your budget.
Loft, skirting, filler panels
The gap above the wardrobe, the strip beside the fridge, the trim where the shutter meets the wall. Ask whether they are in the quote. On most quotes they are not.
You see every room
before we make it.
Layout and storage
How many people cook at once, which side the fridge opens, where the mixer lives, how many sarees and how many suitcases. Storage is planned from what you own, not from a catalogue.
3D views, room by room
Your kitchen, your bedroom, your drawing room, rendered with the exact finishes you picked. Change your mind here and it costs a render.
Samples in your hand
Laminate chips, tile pieces, the actual shutter finish, seen on site in your own light. Screens lie about colour and every showroom is lit to flatter.
Factory, then site
Carcass and shutters made to the measured drawing, delivered and installed in about a fortnight per floor. Site dust, but not site carpentry for six weeks.
Interiors start when the plaster is dry and the flooring is down — usually eight to ten weeks from that point to handover, running alongside painting and electrical fitting.
Turnkey means one rate
for all of it.
